Other recent works I drew Loki with Fenrir, I had a practice on lights : ) My 12 year old brother loves him too~ㅇ<-< 1, meh you can still see the rough strokes, quite not polished up .. 2, meh looks too femineeeeeeee 3, meh Fenrir looks so dumb,
I had a trade with =Ahkward, I drew Loki and she drew this awesome traditional piece plz check it out!
This is really great! I love what you did with the colors - the brightness is incredibly vivid and really catches my eye. Contrast is incredibly well-done, as is your use of colors in general. Love it. Although you complain about the rough strokes, I really think that many of the rough strokes look great and actually contribute to the piece rather than degrade the quality. It gives a beautiful sense of movement and lighting as well as an ambient, other-worldly quality.
Fenrir to me looks really great. The shading around the eyes could be improved a little bit - the eye to my left looks like it pops out a little bit too much because the fur around it is completely black from shading. But the fur is really cool and well-done, as are all the sharp teeth. Really cool.
I LOVE Loki's hand, it's really an interesting shape. The glow of his staff also is great. I think you could consider a little bit the shading on Loki's cheeks because the color is maybe a little off and it makes his eyes bug out the slightest bit. Sometimes I find it fine and other times I'm a little uncertain. Still, this is quite well done. XD
As far as the composition is concerned, I feel like there's a whole lot of negative space in the center of the picture that doesn't work as well as you intended. If you cropped out everything from Loki's hand and onward on the right, I think there'd be more balance. I don't know - play with it. But at the moment so much of the picture is blank space that it detracts a little from the awesomeness of Loki and Fenrir.
Thank you for sharing this! Always love seeing what people do with Loki!
This is quite a lovely piece, and you have done a very good job overall.
I find my eyes are more attracted to Fenrir than Loki, but if that is your intent, then it is not a problem. Perhaps curve his helmet horns a little bit, as to me, they seem to just stick out of the bottom part of his helmet.
I really like the flowing feel to this, as if it is a moving piece of art. You have blended the colors together really well. Loki's tears are rather dazzling, and their shine is entrancing. Good work with the staff! The glowing aspects in this piece are appealing. A very nice fanart of Loki. Be proud of yourself!
Lovely! I really like the bright blue in this piece combined with the gold. Also, the darkness is very interesting in this piece and I think it works really well. The beast, is wickedly awesome! I love the bared fangs and the texture in the fur! And I really like his expression in this piece. It's very emotional! Awesome job!
I really quite like this piece. I think the blurred light behind things makes it seem like he is moving, but it is a little unclear and possible clouds the way the piece comes across. Good job though.
